Melissa Ponce

Melissa Ponce is our Office Manager and Optician. She graduated from Cerritos College and received her Medical Assistant degree in 2005. She interned at Kaiser Permanente in their Urgent Care Center and has worked as an Optometric Technician and Contact Lens Specialist at an Opthalmology medical practice.

Melissa is here to take care of all your eye care needs from guiding you through the pretesting exam to helping you in selecting the right frame and lens for your vision needs and lifestyle. Melissa is fluent in Spanish and is always warm and caring to all our patients.

Nancy Nguyen, O.D.

Dr. Nguyen graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Optometry and a Doctorate in Optometry. Her internship emphasized on contact lenses, ocular diseases, and binocular vision. She has worked at a large Opthalmology practice, where she diagnosed and managed ocular diseases.  She is trained to fit specialty contact lens, such as keratoconus and orthokeratology lenses . Also, she performs LASIK consultations and co-management. She has received many recognitions including the Valedictorian award at Bolsa Grande High School, Robert Byrd scholarship at UCLA, and Honors in Contact Lens fitting and Primary Eye Care at UC Berkeley.

Dr. Nguyen is a native of Garden Grove and loves to be back working and serving in her community.  She enjoys watching any shows on HGTV, the home and gardening network, and is catching up on reading classic novels.  But most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two beautiful boys.
